A TOTAL OF 76 NEW BULGARIAN FILM PRODUCTIONS
A TOTAL OF 76 NEW BULGARIAN FILM PRODUCTIONS will be screened at the twenty-fourth edition of Golden Rhyton Bulgarian Documentary and Animated Film Festival to be held in Plovdiv. Admission is free. The Festival kicks off on Friday, 29 November, 6:00 pm, Hall 1, Lucky Picture House, Plovdiv, running until next Friday, 6 December, 2019, when the winners will be announced.
At the eight-day long Festival 19 animated and 37 documentary films will compete for the two Golden Rhyton awards. Most of the entries have received funding by the Bulgarian National Film Center. The Open Horizons programme includes 20 films made between the previous and the present editions of the Festival, and four will be screened to pay homage to their authors who died this year.
