A modern Balkan story about the eternal Woman. A woman with an unbreakable spirit, a big heart, an incredible turbo shopping cart, and the best pickles – the Grandma. It’s is also a story about the modern woman – the one who sometimes forgets the grandmothers who may seem overly caring, yet still manages to find a common language with them. A film about female strength – the only power capable of standing up to Balkan bureaucracy.

KALINA and ALEKSA met as students and have been a team since day one. They have collaborated on student projects and later continued working on films and music videos. Together, they have created music videos for SERGIE, Kerana & The Cosmonauts, Stefan Valdobrev & The Usual Suspects. Their creative portfolio also includes the short film The Chatterbox, which has been selected at various international festivals and won the Best Animation Debut at the Annual Awards of the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers ‘Vasil Gendov’.
