‘Beyond Sport’ explores the manifestations of Olympism in mass sports practised by school-aged children. Beyond that, it touches on the imperative role of figures such as teachers and coaches, not only regarding sports development, but also in teaching children the values of humanism and Olympism. The film sends a message about the need for the constant care and nurturing of the young generation’s sports education; hence, their spiritual education.

NELLY BENOVA founded Oxymoron Factory, her own production company, in 2016. Its first major project was an independent stage production, a musical titled ‘To Her, with Love! Emil Dimitrov’, with Benova as scriptwriter and producer. During her career, she has produced numerous short films for communication campaigns. ‘Beyond Sport’ is her debut documentary film aimed at a mass audience.
