In May 2023, journalist Maria Plachkova and cameraman Hristo Zlatkov were in Ukraine along with representatives of an organisation that donated equipment to schools in the Odesa region and the town of Nikolaev. Impressed by the situation, in which her parents also live, Maria prepared a film titled ‘Borders’, part of the ‘In Frame’ series.

EMIL MINKOV graduated in Computer Media Technologies, before obtaining a Master’s in Film and Television Direction from the New Bulgarian University. In 2005, he began working in the TV industry and, in 2010, he was appointed a director at Bulgarian National Television. For the past ten years, he has also been involved in journalism and documentaries, as well as sports events, news, and elections.
