He calls himself “the eternal protester”. Dragan Micanovic took to the streets of Serbia in his 20s against Slobodan Milosevic’s regime. Three decades later, the acclaimed actor is back among the young protesters who shook the country after the fatal collapse of a train station canopy in Novi Sad.
Micanovic returned from London in 2003 because his role model Zoran Djindjic became prime minister—only to hear the news of Djindjic’s assassination moments after arriving. Years later he would portray him in a popular TV series. Now, in 2025, he wonders whether the students will succeed where their parents failed. The film follows him and the youth along the “Revolution Boulevard”, paying tribute to Djindjic, whose legacy still echoes there.

LACHEZAR AVRAMOV (born 1980) is a Bulgarian director, screenwriter and producer. A graduate of NATFA, he has written, directed and produced numerous commercials, music videos and over 50 documentaries. Since 2015 he has been the screenwriter and director of the popular comedy series “Friday Five Sharp”. His feature films include “A Picture with Yuki” (2019) and “Yellow Oleander” (2022).
