As globalisation progresses, life accelerates and a loss of identity unconsciously occurs. The urge to absorb the rising tide of meanings and things drags us blindly to some incomprehensible, primal state of living matter. We begin to perceive our depersonalisation as a natural process.

SPARTAK YORDANOV was born in Sofia in 1979. In 2004, he obtained a Master’s in Painting at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. He has held seven solo exhibitions, two of which were in Antwerpen, Belgium, and has participated in more than twenty joint exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. In 2009, he took part in the Sarajevo Talent Campus. Yordanov is a visual artist with the musical group, Saturated Pixels. ‘Depersonalisation’ is his animation debut.
