As а little girl, Asya had always taken care of stray dogs at the Nadezhda shelter, where her mother used to work as a keeper. Years later, they nostalgically recall that period as one of the best times of their lives. The film introduces the 1500 Dog Gang volunteers and follows animal catchers from the Ecoravnovesie municipal enterprise as they encounter cases of homeless animals.

ILINA PERIANOVA obtained a Master’s in Fiction Film Direction from the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School of Tallinn University, Estonia. She studied Theatrical Acting and Directing in France and Denmark, and completed a Bachelor’s in that speciality from the New Bulgarian University. Her short films include the musical, ‘Eat me!’, ‘Between Me and You’, ‘Snowgirl’ and ‘Queen’.
