SVETLA TSOTSORKOVA is a screenwriter, director and producer. Her films have been shown at many famous festivals, including La Semaine de la Critique, San Sebastian IFF, Karlovy Vary IFF, Telluride IFF, Istanbul IFF, Thessaloniki IFF, London IFF, Cottbus IFF, winning over twenty awards.

SVETOSLAV OVCHAROV is the author of three books, and several theatre and TV plays. He has written and directed thirty documentaries and seven feature films. Most of them have received prestigious awards at film festivals such as Cairo IFF, Pusan IFF, Warsaw IFF, Sao Paolo IFF, and Haifa IFF. Svetla and Svetoslav have worked as co-authors on four fictional films. ‘Hero of Our Time’ is their first documentary as co-writers and co-directors.
