ANNA HARALAMPIEVA specialised in animation at the Sofia Animation Film Studio, under Vyacheslav Kotyonochkin. A member of ASIFA and the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers, she has been involved in the animation of over thirty Bulgarian and foreign films, commercials and television programme logos. Supervisor of ‘The Straw Man’ and ‘Lilly and the Magic Pearl’ (full-length film), directed by Anri Koulev. Independently directed ‘The Tenth Circle’, ‘Why the Sky Is High’, ‘Uncle Parrot’s Rhymes: Japan’, ‘Existence’, ‘How the Weird Sisters Came to Quarrel’.

Winner of the Golden Rhyton Debut Award, Plovdiv; The Golden Mikeldi for Animated Film, Bilbao; Third Prize at the Golden Knight International Festival of Slavonic and Orthodox Nations, Moscow, in 2000 and 2017; Award of the Ministry of Culture for contribution to the development and popularisation of Bulgarian culture.
