A film about the bravery and self-sacrifice of a young doctor—an example to the living and reflection for the surviving. A story about oblivion and ingratitude shown towards the people in white scrubs. On 15 August 1963—the major feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God—Dr Stefan Cherkezov pulled forty-seven people out of a burning bus, saving them all, but died the next day from his burns.

VALENTINA FIDANOVA-KOLAROVA graduated from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts with a Master’s in Film Direction. She is a Doctor of Film Studies, Film Art and Television, and an associate professor at NATFA. She has directed documentaries, popular science and feature films, and theatrical performances, and written four books, a stage play, and had over sixty articles published in scientific and specialist magazines. A member of the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers; the Union of the Journalists; the Union of Bulgarian Writers; Academica 21, the Association of Film, TV and Radio Screenwriters, and the Society of Film and TV Directors.
