The film is inspired by the book Memories by Prof. Petko Venedikov (1905–1995), a prominent lawyer and public figure. Through his personal perspective, an entire century of Bulgarian history unfolds – its social, political, and spiritual transformations told with wisdom, humanity, and deep understanding.

IVAN ALEKSIEV is a professor at NATFA ‘Krustyo Sarafov’ and director of the documentaries We Loved Them So Much, Muses with Bulgarian Names, Atanas Ilkov – The Puppet Professor, among others. He is the recipient of the ‘Academica 21’ award at the Golden Rhyton Film Festival, 2020.
