A modern documentary tale weaving the exciting stories of talented Arab artists—migrants and refugees—forced to find new homes and who willingly settled in Bulgaria. Their striving for artistic expression gives them strength through all the hardships of life: war, death, family rejection, social restrictions. Their stories turn into a poetic visual narrative with much music, colour, and dancing.

KATERINA BORISOVA is a Bulgarian film director and producer. She graduated in Cultural Studies from St Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia, and in Film and TV Direction from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. Over the past twelve years, she has been involved in a variety of film productions, to gain as much experience as possible. In all her works she aims at turning social issues into inspiring modern tales.
