Based on French Romantic and Symbolist poetry, the film tells the story of the artist’s spiritual experiences while absorbed in the creative process, of loneliness, of the eternal longing for an impossible love.

MARIA NIKOLOVA is a Bulgarian director and scriptwriter. She directed the children’s TV shows ‘Fairy Tales About Physics’, ‘Fairy Tales About Astronomy, and ‘Hello, Mr Jasmin’, broadcast by the Bulgarian National Television; the short film, ‘Yellow Dog’; and the documentary, ‘Lyuben Zidarov’s Magic Mirror’.
