The film traces the life and historical path of Simeon II — from his childhood in the royal palace and his dramatic departure into exile to his political return to Bulgaria. It also presents the stories of two of the people closest to him — his wife Margarita and his grandson Boris, declared “Guardian of the Crown.” The narrative reflects on love, legacy, continuity and Simeon II’s messages for and about Bulgaria.

LYUBOSLAV ATANASOV was born on January 7, 1979, in Radomir, Bulgaria. He completed secondary education in Pravets (Computer Technologies) and graduated from New Bulgarian University with a degree in Cinema and Television. His television career began in 1999 at Kanal 3 as a cameraman. In 2003 he joined bTV, where he worked as graphic designer, video editor, vision mixer director and director.
