The film is occasioned by the 180th anniversary of Bulgarian revolutionary
leader in the struggle for liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottomans,
Vasil Levski dubbed the Apostle of Freedom and for the first time in the
history of Bulgarian documentary filmmaking portrays him as trinity of
a cleric, revolutionary and statesman.
PAVEL PAVLOV is a producer of 20 feature, documentary and animated
projects supported by Bulgarian National Film Center, BNT and
Culture Programme of Sofia Municipality; director of four feature films.
Teaches Film Editing at NATFA, Sofia (2014–2019). Golden Rhyton
